Time stops when the branding iron is returned to the can. *If the ground member is a youth an adult "helper" may participate in assisting the youth for safety.
Team Doctoring- Three member team will have the opportunity to catch 1 head in no more than 6 minutes total. As time starts, all 3 members are all mounted and all cattle are on the same side of the white line marked across the arena. A number will be called out to the team. The team will then sort out 1 cattle with the corresponding number. That cattle must be driven across white line where it can then be caught by head and heel. A third member will dismount and lay the cattle down if needed, move the head rope to the front feet and making sure both hind feet are in the heel loop and remount their horse. Time stops when the third member re-mounts their horse. Each team will only be permitted 4 loops.
